Five of my works are included in the Wexford Festival Opera Exhibition 2012 , which is running in Greenacres Art Galleries, Selskar, Wexford, Ireland , until November 17th. I have two batiks in the show and three screenprints, including Little Hooker (pictured)
Gormleys Fine Art are taking 12 of my batiks to the Affordable Art Fair , which will be held in Battersea Park, London, from the 25th to the 28th of October. There will be over 100 galleries under one roof, exhibiting all types of work including paintings, prints, sculpture and photographs. This batik “Twilight Forest” will be one of the pieces on the Gormleys Fine Art stand
I will be giving a talk next week in the Royal Hibernian Academy. Called ” The Art of Batik”, the talk is one of the RHA`s Artists in Profile series, in which selected artists share their preoccupations,their methods of working and generally explain how they approach their work.

A detail of my screenprint ” Double Pillarbox, Dublin ” has just been published by Art Cards Ireland . This company produces greeting cards by contemporary Irish artists and have a very good selection of images. The cards are available in a number of outlets throughout Ireland www.artcardsireland.com/
My screenprint “Blue Couch” has been chosen for the open submission exhibition “Impressions 12” in Galway Arts Centre. The print has been used in one of the posters for the exhibition, which runs until October 9th.
